The National Weather Service office in the Quad Cities is offering a storm spotter training class (via webinar) for businesses. This class is intended to train spotters who may be deployed by/at a business as a part of their severe weather protection strategy.
What: National Weather Service Storm Spotter Training Class (for Businesses)
When: Monday April 22nd from 330 pm to 530 pm
Logistics: It is suggested that people gather at each workplace, allowing for local group discussion and participation by more businesses. The training presentation should last about 1.5 hours, allowing another 30 minutes for local discussion of facility plans and procedures once the webinar has ended.
Technical requirements: On your end, you will need a computer with internet projected onto a screen that the group can see and and a speaker phone that they can hear.
