Webinar: Are Your Emergency Operations Plans Realistic? A Group Discussion on Planning Assumptions

The EIIP is pleased to host an interactive group discussion on February 13, 2013 beginning at 12:00 Noon Eastern time (please convert to your local time). Our topic is based on a white paper, Paper Plans and Fantasy Documents and a related blog post "How Realistic is Your Planning?" which together make the case for evidence-based planning.  Ten discussion questions have been posted to stimulate the conversation, and participants are encouraged to review them in advance.

Our guest will be author, blogger, and emergency management consultant Lucien G. Canton CEM®, CPP, CBCP.  Mr. Canton has over 30 years experience in hazard and risk analysis, loss reduction, and emergency planning and also authored the book Emergency Management: Concepts and Strategies for Effective Programs.
