Suspicious Mail Identification and Response Training for Election Offices/Officials for Johnson County and the Surrounding Counties in IEMA District 6 (Benton, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Cedar, Clayton, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, and Scott Counties).

  • Following the mailing of envelopes containing Fentanyl to Election Offices in 6 different states in November 2023, Safeguard Iowa is bringing an in-person/hybrid version (via ZOOM) of our Suspicious Mail Identification and Response Training to locations in each of the state’s 6 HSEMD Districts prior to the upcoming 2024 Elections.
  • The target training audience is the Auditor and staffs of local election and political offices, elected officials, candidates, and interested local First Responders.
