The Linn County Emergency Management Agency will be holding a 16-hour Intermediate Incident Command System course created for supervisory or management staff that would be assigned in a supervisory or leadership role in the Command or General Staff of an emergency response incident or major pre-planned event.  This class meets NIMS/ICS compliance and participants will be issued a certificate upon completion of the class.

 

Target Audience:

Mid-level management including task division/group supervisors, emergency operations center staff, county command and general staff, select department heads with multi-agency coordination systems responsibilities, area commanders, emergency managers, law enforcement staff.

 

Pre-requisite:

IS-700: Introduction to NIMS

ICS-100: Introduction to ICS or equivalent

ICS-200: Basic ICS or equivalent

Fees: No charge - funded throught FY10 Homeland Security Grant
