Webinar: The Value of Planning for Commodity Distribution

This webinar addresses the many challenges that distribution sites may encounter (i.e. power outages, donations) by utilizing lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina. It also includes advice for setting up and staffing a Point of Distribution (POD) and distributing life-saving commodities to an impacted community.

At the completion of the training participants will have basic knowledge of:

• The challenges that distribution sites must plan for;
• The three types of distribution points; and
• How to set-up a POD
