EMForum.org is pleased to host a one hour presentation and interactive discussion Wednesday, May 9, 2012,. Our topic will be the recently published Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Guide (CPG) 201.

The guide provides a comprehensive approach for identifying and assessing risks and associated impacts and expands on existing risk methodologies by broadening the factors considered in the process, incorporating the whole community throughout the entire process, and by accounting for important community-specific factors.

Our guest will be Donald "Doc" Lumpkins, Executive Director of FEMA's PPD-8 Program Executive Office since mid-2011. Doc Lumpkins also serves as Branch Chief, National Planning Coordination and Assistance, National Preparedness Directorate. In this position he oversees the development of national planning doctrine, catastrophic preparedness planning initiatives, and tailored technical assistance programs.

Please make plans to join us, and see the Background Page for links to related resources and participant Instructions. On the day of the program, use the Webinar Login link not more than 30 minutes before the scheduled time. The password is attend.
